What is a liquidation in crypto futures?
The exchange force-closes a position when losses eat up its collateral (margin). The higher the leverage, the closer the liquidation price is to the entry: about −10% at 10x leverage and about −2% at 50x.
Where can I see Bitcoin liquidations live?
On this page: the feed of real liquidations from Binance, Bybit and OKX updates every 15 seconds, and totals for the last hour, 4 hours and day are summed across all three exchanges. Every coin also has its own page in the market scanner.
What is a liquidation heatmap?
The heatmap shows prices where many liquidations are stacked. It is built by the CryptoLogix model: from open interest growth on Binance, Bybit and OKX and typical leverage from 5x to 100x we derive the prices where longs and shorts would be liquidated.
Why does price often move towards liquidation clusters?
A cluster holds many forced closures. When price reaches it, positions are closed with market orders that amplify the move. A cluster is a guide, not a guarantee that price will go there.
What do “longs liquidated” and “shorts liquidated” mean?
Longs are liquidated when price falls, shorts when it rises. More long liquidations means the market flushed leveraged buyers; more short liquidations means leveraged sellers were squeezed.

Liquidation levels
Bright bands are prices where many positions would be liquidated. Price is often drawn to such levels: large liquidations cause sharp moves. On the right is what sits there now: red longs below the price, green shorts above it. A level fades once price passes through it.

Where the data comes from
The feed shows real liquidations published by Binance, Bybit and OKX. Exchanges send at most one liquidation per second per pair, so totals are understated during big sell-offs, as with other services. The levels map is an estimate: exchanges do not disclose traders’ leverage, so we derive levels from open interest growth on the three exchanges and typical leverage from 5x to 100x. Use it as a guide, not an exact forecast.
